I’m available for weddings, commitment ceremonies and renewal of vows. I live on the South Coast and am available for ceremonies anywhere in and around Sydney, Wollongong, the South Coast, Southern Highlands and New South Wales. I can also fly to your destination wedding, in fact, I'd love to!
I’ve found that a lot of people are confused about what a Marriage Celebrant actually does. A lot of people think I’m just in it for the gig on the day, but there’s so much more that goes into bringing your dream wedding to life. Here’s a run down of how things roll when you book with me—
meeting One
Hello, hi! Thanks for the enquiry! This is where we book a short phone consultation. You’ll tell me what sort of ceremony you’re dreaming about, and I’ll tell you a bit about what I offer. If that all sounds good to you, you’re able to go ahead and secure your date with a booking fee. You’ll then have access to my extensive wedding knowledge, lists, ceremonies, readings and vow material. Then we can plan a face to face meeting.
Meeting
Two
The fun meeting! Three months out from your wedding date, we’ll meet up at a local bar or café to get to know each other even better. I want to hear all about your love story, future plans, and lives together! We’ll also discuss how the ceremony will flow, and will start filling out some of the legal paperwork—this is where things start feeling really real!
It’s also where you’ll see that I really do have everything under control. I’ll prompt you on a few things you may not have thought about yet, ideas for your aisle walk and entrance, music and ways to include your loved ones in your ceremony. After this meeting you will walk away feeling calm, excited and completely on track.
Once I’ve finished writing a ceremony that is magical, fun and completely and utterly you, I’ll send it your way so we can comb through the finer details together, and make any corrections or additions. We can also discuss whether or not you’d like to arrange a rehearsal.
your big day
We’re here! It’s time, I can feel the excitement! I’ll be there an hour early to ensure everything is going to plan. I’ll also liaise with your vendors, coordinate the little details, and generally just be there by your side every step of the way through your ceremony. You’ll never lose your place with me. I’ve got your back. We’ve got this!
After the ceremony, I’ll send you home with your couple’s certificate, a printed booklet of your ceremony and vows, and will lodge all of your legal paperwork within three business days. What do you need to do? Nothing! It’s done. Enjoy your fabulous honeymoon—the wedding planning has finally come to an end and you are MARRIED!
